Last time I confess my real feelings
It was a warm summer evening, and the sun was setting in hues of orange and pink. I found myself sitting across from the person I had harbored secret feelings for, for far too long.
As we sipped on our drinks and engaged in light conversation, I felt a knot forming in my stomach. I knew that this was the moment I had been waiting for – the moment to finally confess my true feelings.
My palms were sweaty, and my heart was racing as I took a deep breath and looked into their eyes. I could see a mixture of curiosity and anticipation in their gaze, which gave me the courage to speak up.
“I have something important to tell you,” I began, my voice slightly trembling. “I have been holding back these feelings for a while now, but I can’t keep them to myself any longer.”
As I poured my heart out, I could see a range of emotions playing out on their face – surprise, disbelief, and perhaps even a hint of reciprocity. And in that moment, I felt a sense of relief wash over me.
Despite the uncertainty of their response, I knew that I had done the right thing by being honest about my feelings. Whether they felt the same way or not, I was grateful for the opportunity to finally speak my truth.
As the evening drew to a close, we bid our goodbyes with a newfound sense of understanding between us. Although the future was uncertain, I knew that I had taken a step towards freeing myself from the burden of unspoken emotions.
And as I walked away, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of liberation and peace knowing that I had finally confessed my real feelings.
